nineveh cottages but where ?

The image is on Birmingham Images with description…

“A group of cottages known as Nineveh, Handsworth. The present-day Nineveh Road takes its name from them.”
thats great pedro it what i thought..lovely old cottages but i guess the chances of finding out their exact location is quite low..

hi mike you posted this photo of court 1 and the map on another thread so are you thinking the cottages are in front of court no 1 or have i missunderstood...reason i ask is because looking at your map they look too square to be cottages..thanks mike

There are several cottages listed in Ninevah Road on the 1861 census.
Could the caption just refer to cottages in the "hamlet" known as Ninevah?
Ninevah (according to Bill Dargue) was at the junction of Park Road and Bacchus Road - now called Ninevah Road.
 
Some references to 'Ninevah' used as a place name near Birmingham. Specifically two public houses were located at Ninevah: The Engine and The Swan. The name Ninevah was in use from at least the beginning of the1800s.
