New Pub Bristol Road

Hi everyone
In the early 1970s I went for an interview to work at a newly built pub on the Bristol Road, near the cinema, and for some reason I never went to work there and I can't remember what it was called, is it still there? I ended up going to work at the Sir Harry instead.

If you are talking bout the Trees that replaced the old Trees next to the Bristol Cinema then it's been gone for a long time and so has the cinema as well.

Yes that is the name, thanks Phil. Did they revamp the whole area? The pub was a newbuild and very smart.
