Hi,

I am researching Sir Josiah Mason's orphanage, Erdington. My father & auntie boarded there in the 1940's.

Anyone with any photo's or details of where I can find out more, please let me know.

Welcome Rachael and enjoy the joys of this forum and the kind folk here.

I was in Sir Josiah Mason's in the 1940's. If you search in the box above you will find some pictures of the building and the inside to give you an idea of life there.

Good luck. :)

Hello,I just noticed your query about the orphanage in erdington.Would this be in orphanage lane, erdington,as I used to live on chester road, erdington,in about 1950-ish,just arounnd the corner from orphanage lane, and I seem to recall that it was still an orphanage.Hope this may be of some assistance to you.
