New listed pubs

I haven't been in the Black Horse for about forty years now, but I would hope that they have done something about the terrible musty damp smell that prevailed in the lounge the last few times I used it.

I went there for a meal about a year ago, and there wasn't any musty smell then. Also had one of the nicest steaks I've had for a while

its a pity that the same thought was not put into the golden lion pub built 1520 that now lies rotting away in cannon hill park with no imminent reprieve for it..or indeed the fox and grapes freeman st/park st dating back to the early 18th century and is listed... very shortly the fox will be demolished to make way for HS2....putting a listing on a building does not mean a jot in my book...if the land is wanted then they will go as did island house near to the fox and grapes..
