New Hall Birmingham

We don't have a thread about New Hall, Birmingham (not to be confused with the Sutton Coldfield New Hall). Here's a little history of New Hall, built in the early 17th century, its surrounding area and successive developments. The approach to the Hall was tree-lined as shown on Westley's map of 1731, which later became Newhall Street. The Hall itself would have been at the later junction of Newhall Street and Great Charles Street. The building was demolished in 1787.
