i was wondering if anybody could help me
i am in the middle of tracing my family tree and was wondering if anybody on this site might have any information that might help me
im looking for the morrall family who lived in the handsworth and winson green area between 1858 to 1981
my name is celia morrall and i lived on the handsworth new rd with my sister joanne morrall my father harry morrall and my mother sylvia morrall btween 1970 to 1981
im also looking for my grandfather horace morrall (born in 1905 died 1979) and my grandmother celia morrall ne roach (born 1908 died 1967) they are from they are from handsworth
also my great grandfather william morrall (born 1858 sorry dont have a death year)
a louisa morrall nee sqibb (born 1859 died 1917)
and a clara morrall nee addison ne chambers (born1887 died 1946) they are also from the handsworth area
also if anybody knows a betty wheeldon the second wife to horace morrall
i know its a bit of a long request sorry guys but any information would be greatfully recived

I found this William who might be yours on the 1861 census. William's father is a coal miner

I had relatives called Morrall that lived in Harding Street, Winson Green. They appear in the 1881 census; Samuel, Charlotte, Clarence and Adolphus.

I looked in 1905 for the birth of Horace, not there, best i could find was --

Horace Morrall 2nd qtr 1904 Walsall 6b 816

I searched 1908+/- 1yr and there was only this one --

Celia Leah Roach 1st qtr 1908 Aston 6d 400

I did find the marriage --

Horace Morrall/Celia Roach 3rd qtr 1929 W.Bromwich 6b 1978

Are your family related to the Morrall family that lived in West Bromwich? If so I would be able to pass on some information. Quite a number of the Morralls from W/B worked at Chance,s glass works if that helps.

I Have a sister-inlaw whom is a roach and she was brought up in queens rd aston
she now lives in great barr her mother and father was also brought up in aston
birmingham 6 , as it was in hose days
