Yes that is true. The LNWR stable block in Curzon Street was listed, I recall, but that did not prevent the building of Millenium Point and heritage seems to have little value at the present.
For example, I do wonder what is the reason for the move of Walsall Leather Museum from Littleton Street.
 
As to Moor Street what makes this an interesting railway survivor is the concrete support. The bricks supported the more substantial overhead structures.

The build was about 1913 when the goods shed upper and A and B sheds (lower) were in the process of construction.

The concrete was reinforced, but earlier in railway history the use of mass concrete was to be found locally on the London & Birmingham Railway. The choice of the engineering team of the Birmingham Committee was to be noted. The recent HS 2 archeology found that the base of the round house turntable was concrete.
