Model steam engine at Snow Hill station

Before the was and for some years after there was a model King class steam engine in a glass case on the down platform at Snow Hill station. It seems to have disappeared during the 1960's and I am trying to find out what has happened to it. I have established that it is not in the Science museum or at the Tyseley museum, nor is it at York or Swindon. It was a wonderful model and one could insert an old penny in a slot and the wheels went round for a minute or so.

Can anyone help me to find it?
