Missing Family members - Wheeler / Baker

I am trying to determine if Lily went into a workhouse or hospital following the death of her daughter Eva Gertrude in 1911. How do I find admission records?

Yes, it would seem that these are the wrong couple. Thank you for pointing that out before I ordered the wrong DC.

Log into GRO.
On rhs click on "search GRO online index

click on "death" and select the year.
enter details

Then hit "search". You will get 4 results. Click oin circle by the "windsor" entry

Select "digital image" and then follow instructions to pay.
After paying you will get a screen allowing you to view and download the information.

Hope that makes sense

Not sure why it doesn't come up when you do a search but there are gaps in GRO links.

Try reading this but obviously enter Lily Wheeler using 1952 as search year.
You should be able to order a digital image.

A lot of hospital records are not online - probably because of the sensitive nature of such records.
All Saints records have just appeared on Ancestry.
For othe records you could look at Birmingham Archives at the library.
