GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN R.I.P.
A poem to my mom.
You were my guiding star in life
A shoulder to cry in my need
Or a face to show me a smile
Strength to get through every day
Some one who tucked me in my bed
Or shouted at me in doing wrong
Just enough to put in the right
To sit and talk of many things
Always that will to help every one
The loving face as we came to call
My guardian angel that's my mom

Hope shes looking down reading that John........and saying to the woman sitting next to her..........'thats me boy!'

Yeah John
We all miss our mums
I've said it in previous postings
Mums are the greatest people in the world, we all know that
But don't be sad mate, be proud that you've helped to set up this great site which allows us all to remember our mums and the days of our youth with stories and poems and photos

Now you know what a rollickin you'd get off your mum if she saw you being sad at Christmas so cheer up and drink a toast to her memory O0

Yes John, I miss my mum too and think of her often. Lovely poem.

I agree - drink a toast to your mom's memory and all the loved ones you loved and lost and hopefully your mom will enter your dreams and gives you the comfort you want!

It's a large club we're in John and wouldn't your Mom be tickled pink to think you remember her with such love. Lovely poem.
