Miss Sweetheart Dolls Jewellery Quarter

I've been trying to research a 7" small doll named Miss Sweetheart. She was sold as a set of 16 dolls and each doll had a different 'personality title' like Miss Wimbledon, Miss Ice Queen, Miss Bride, etc. and were sold in a box with a silver lining. I have recently received information that may pinpoint this doll to the Jewellery Quarter probably during the late 50s to early 60s. I was told that the dolls were painted by women as 'out workers' probably at home. But who was the manufacturer of these? I've read that factories diversified in the Jewellery Quarter and so could have made these. The dolls are made of hard plastic with small metal accessories like an umbrella, hand bag, tennis racquet. The dolls are very small and were made almost identically to the German Bild Lilli doll. If anyone can remember someone who worked on these or the factory, or if anyone actually thinks they have one please let me know, thanks!

I too am seeking information about this dolls Birmingham connections and if anyone has any relatives that worked making, painting and dressing these?
