Miss Price's Prep School - Linwood Road, Handsworth

Does anyone recall a prep school run by a Miss Florence Price on the top floor of 11 Linwood Road?
Aged 5, I attended this school circa 1945-46 before being transferred to Benson Road Infants in Winson Green.
At Miss Price's, we wrote with slate pencils on wood-framed slates. I have lots of vivid memories of my time there, but I've never come across anyone who went to, or had even heard of, Miss Price's school in Linwood Road.

On the 1939 Register Florence is listed at 99 Linwood Road with a younger sister. She is listed as a School Mistress.

Some of her sisters were teachers also.

She died in 1960

In 1960 Eva still lived with her and so did Clara Harris according to the eroll

1921 census shows 99 Linwood was the home of her Father.
Florence is listed as "private school mistress"

It was 99 on the 1939 Register as well not 91, that was a different Price family (will amend).

Clara and Hilda are 2 of her other sisters.

A Miss Price was the headmistress at Heathlands junior school Castle Bromwich when I was there c. 1955
Would this be the same Lady?

Florence was born in 1869 so unlikely to have been working in 1955.

I wonder if JLB recalls her as elderly. In 1945 she would have been in her 70s.
