Does anyone know the name of the pub on Miles Street, ( pub and road no longer there) close to Beamish Road maisonettes? My Grandad Ken Roberts used to drink in there 1950's/1960's early 70's :) Does anyone remember him, a fine Welshman?

Didn't I answer this question on another thread recently. I think it was the Plume of Feathers. Sorry I never used the pub, so I have no memories. I did use the Gaylords Club in Miles Street, but owing to the condition I was in when leaving there I have no memories of there either.

Hi BlueGwen
My mom and dad were publicans in the 1960’s I was born upstairs in 1965 my mom says she remembers your grandad very well that he was a regular and a very kind man who helped her with the bottles from the yard after she had me when dad was out. Mom is 87 now and remembering Ken has put a On her face today!
