Snap time motorman mike ??? bet you drank out of those a few times .......... ragga :fat:
Was Digbeth the only indoor Midland Red bus station in Birmingham? My Grandad used to take me to Far Forest to see his sister when I was very young (I think it was the Ludlow service via Kidderminster and Bewdley) but I just seem to recollect boarding it in Station St. I'm probably wrong and it was Digbeth.
Right, hope you don't mind me posting a few more Midland Red photo's

Hi Mike, the two D7's were photographed at the Hassop Road terminus at the Beeches Estate.Great selection of Reds there thanks Rob, have you any information on when and where the photo of the two D7's was taken please?
Picture number 3 looks like the Walsall Rd canal bridge just below the Clifton Cinema.
I should know the location of photo 2 but cannot place it. Midland Red route 194 was Birmingham to Worcester via Hagley but I don't remember that route
Hi David
The 194 changed in I think the late 1960s to the route from City to Chelmsley Wood Arran Way via Washwood Heath.
The bus in the picture would definitely have been on the old route as both the 194 and the 195 to Arran Way were one
man operated routes. The 194 still 'lives on' as the 94 route, but now extended from Arran Way to Chelmsley Wood
Town Centre.
Kind regards Dave
