im trying to find out more about the merrick side of the family ive been told that charles merrick married jane clarke in st martins church in 1820 which is wonderfull im trying to find out about charles dad was he also a charles merrick ?
all i know is the merrick family were all birmingham based
can anyone offer any advice or help

hi simon, on the st martins record of the marriage there are two witnesses, ann merrick and b?????d merrick (could be something like bernard?) marriage was 29 aug 1820. bachelor and spinster and both "of this parish".
unfortunately i cant see any other relevant records for this family at st. martins
