Mike. Thank you for the post. I am not sure where the Bordesley Palace was, I can only guess that it may have been just before Belchers Lane coming from town. I am sure David will be interested in this post when he sees it. I have to go out now but will read it a bit more thougher later.

It was between Clyde St and Warner St. The 1912 map shows the Imperila theatre on the corner of Clyde St, so it must be there.

Oh ! I was way off course, more around where Coventry Road and Camp Hill go their separate ways. Thank you both for the postings.
 
Hi.
My mother met my father in the queue outside the Bordesley Palace and she always said she hated him for his bright red carrot coloured hair but something must have clicked as they married in 1936 and had six of us and unfortunately I got the red hair which has thankfully turned to silver.
