It was 9 years ago today (March 9 2009) that I became a member of this Forum, one of the best decisions I have ever made, its like having friends in the house, especially when you live alone, and I also enjoy our meets. I ceased exhibiting my paintings in 2006 (due to age) so stopped painting, but the Forum got me started again and now enjoy it as much as ever. Eric

Eric, that's really nice to know. Very pleased to hear that a history forum has encouraged you to continue with your remarkable skills and talent. Always nice to chat to you at the meet up too.
 
Thank you all for kind comments. Looking forward to June meet (just before my 88th birthday and 2weeks after my Holiday). Will try and put extra paintings in, plus one for Vicki for organizing meet. Eric
 
Yipee! I've just been promoted to "Master Brummie! Not bad for an scouser from Toxteth................ Mind you I've lived in Brum for 51 years compared with only 23 years in Liverpool. I really enjoy reading & occasionally contributing to the Forum - long may it thrive and many thanks for all the wonderful hard work put into it by the "staff" & contributors.
