Gone but not forgotten
Looking through the Aston streets list posted, I found a piece about Bartons Bank written by Maurice Shepperd. He mentions that his grandparents lived at 2 Court 15 Bartons Bank next door to the Gibsons. My grandparents were those Gibsons and it's possible that Maurice and I met there as children.
I wonder if Maurice is a contributer here under another nickname, if so maybe we can chat. Eric.
