Matador pub

Matador , i worked for a tobacco firm, and we had cigarette machines in loads of pubs , they had to be refilled every week. One of my routes was Birmingham and the Matador had one of our machines there . On arriving there one Thursday morning to refill it, IT had GONE!!! nicked! How the hell they got it down those stairs I don't know, it was a big thing, and would have taken 3 people to get it down, BUT you know nobody saw anything? not even the manager, so he said, but neither did he bother to let us know it had gone , In those days £300 worth of machine. oh happy days, we had quite a lot of machines either emptied of nicked in those days. i did quite few of the pubs in Birmingham and around.
