Marriage look-up Please for John Rogers

smtr

master brummie
I know that John Rogers married Martha Appleby and their first? child was born around 1849/50 in Aston. Just wondering if they may have married at St Martins. Would love to know their father's names.

Many Thanks

Suzanne

unfortunately there is no sign of them at st. martins, either for a marriage or a christening of their children :(

Shera it was St Phillips, have just checked marriages on freebmd and it was for 1859 so it is correct for the entry on the IGI

If you phone the library and give them the date for a small charge they may look up the entry for you if you can't get there to view it yourself :)

Records which may interest you and fit in with the birthdate of Martha Rogers.

I am so grateful for the info you provided. I now have John Rogers' father's name. I have been looking for ages!

Many, many thanks.

Suzanne:)

I see you have put 1869 for the marriage - did you mean 1859?

Yes it is 59, apologies, the way it is written it looks very much like 69.

I have taken a photocopy, if you want it PM me and I will arrange to mail it on to you, I took an A3 copy so it will not scan.
