Malt Shovel - Dartmouth Street

Believe the Malt Shovel pub existed in Dartmouth Street but not sure of the number. Reading a previous thread it appears as being number 108 but in others it appears as 150 - can anyone confirm which is correct?

A relative's grandmother Annie M Lloyd is apparently listed in one of the Kellys guides as being a Beer retailer - living at 106 Dartmouth Street. Would this have been linked to the Malt Shovel pub if 108 is the address or would it be a separate establishment. Not sure whether a beer retailer is classified as a pub or an off licence establishment - any clarification, explanations or photos greatly appreciated!!

I am not sure about the pub being called the Malt shovel, though the reference to it you mentioned apparently did so name it at thatb time. however the 1891 census lists your relative's grandmother there at no 106. and names the -place as the Rolling mill Inn.
When listed in Kellys as a beer retailer, this means that it is either an off licence or a beerhouse, which is licensed to sell only beer and cider on the premises, but not spirits
