Lloyd. We did know of the experimental electric vans, but Jackie is looking for the lorries from the Lucas Transport Fleet which were always to be seen on all the J.Lucas sites and the roads of G/B and also we guess overseas, thank for your reply, much appreciated. Len.

Just waiting for my brother to come down and then we should have some pictures to put up, he was a driver at Foremans Road.

Louis, I was a Machine Tool Fitter in BW5 and from 1961 i and my Fitters Mate Les Spittle would work at the Eagle when the permanent Fitter would be away on holiday or off sick ie- Les Mullis, Peter Strangeward, Arthur Thirlby was the Electrician, as well as Machine repairs, i fitted the aluminium handrail on the stairs to the canteen any possibility you would remember me?. Len.

My Dad used to work at Foremans road from 1977 to 1989 , he was a transport driver. His name was Tom Hurdman, also known as Bugsy. Does anyone remember him?.

Sadly he passed away just over 2 years ago.
 
Re Fradley Depot - Well there is now so please fill in some details. All posts are started by members so I can only assume no member has experience of it.

I see the lampost now you have pointed it out Lyn. Isnt it a shame when you look at these lovely pictures that it is all gone.
