Looking for grand parents

Big John

New Member
Hi,

I am Big John and I live in Worcester. I am trying to locate my grad parents, who I did not know, according to the 1911 census my granddad was in the The Birmingham Workhouse and infirmary as a patient. can any one help trace this.

Hi and welcome,

If you give us their names, and whatever else you know about them (ie : approx dates of birth, marriage etc) there are many people here who will try and help you

Thanks for reply,
My granddads name was George Hopkins and according to the 1911 census was in The Birmingham Workhouse and infirmary he was born in 1863. he was married to Mary Ann Stokes and as far as I can find out they had eight children and at the time of the 1911 census were living at 97 Ellen St Birmingham. A further problem that I have encountered is that my father, Walter, (born 1898) is not listed on he 1911 census although he is listed on the 1901 census.

I would be most grateful for any help that I can get.

John Hopkins
