I'm a retired history teacher, helping at Birmingham People's History Archive/BPHA at BMI. We've been contacted by a South Korean TV company, making a documentary about economic changes - they need an ex-Longbridge worker to interview and perhaps walk around the area, talking about how it's changed. There's probably a small payment. They will be filming in the UK for 4 days during September 2026. I've had a Zoom meeting with a producer, to check this isn't a scam - I'm so suspicious! Please contact me [email protected] if you would like to be involved, and we can talk more. I wouldn't pass on anyone's details without their permission, but it does sound an interesting project.
