Re: looking for barbara lewis.

Hi Keith

Is this the family?

Winifred M Dallow married Richard Lewis in 1939 Birmingham.

Children: Ronald R Lewis b.1940; Barbara W Lewis b.1944; Joy L Lewis b.1955

A Barbara W Lewis married Kenneth C Eagles in 1965 Birmingham.

A Kenneth Charles Eagles died 1999 Birmingham.

A Barbara W Eagles is listed on the 2002 electoral roll but not on the 2005. (no death record found up to 2005). I'll pm you the contact details for 2002.

Re: looking for barbara lewis.

Hello Keith,

If Barbara has changed last known address given , try contacting her children.
I think it is wise not to list details of living people so I have sent you an I.M.

Re: looking for barbara lewis.

Hi Keith

I have found these births, all Murray mothers maiden name –

Winifred M Dallow 2nd qtr 1920 Aston 6d 1001
Walter J 4th qtr 1922 Aston 6d 675
Leslie G 2nd qtr 1926 Birmingham S 6d 385 *
Robert A 2nd qtr 1929 Birmingham S 6d 385 *
Raymond 2nd qtr 1932 Birmingham S 6d 383
John F 4th qtr 1935 Birmingham 6d 307
Brian R mmn Murrey 3rd qtr 1939 Birmingham 6d 586 **

* I double checked these two as the Volume number was the same, usually seen with twins but very rare with siblings born in separate years, unusual but is just a coincidence.

** I included this one as I think it could be just a mis-transcription and I couldn't find any other Dallow births with mmn the same as this, it happens.

I then looked for a Dallow/Murray marriage but couldn't find it but I did find this –

James J Dallon/Alice Murray 4th qtr 1919 Aston 6d 929

Once again I suspect it has been transcribed incorrectly and should be Dallow. If you obtained the birth certificate for Winifred it should confirm this.
