Think this was a butchers shopin the 1930s I would guess - it was run by my hubbies great-grandad, not sure if it was his shop, or he just ran it. Any help appreciated :)
 
Not really sure Dek, Nan died in 2006, hubby can't remember much of what she said, but I am sure she also mentioned it was by either a pub or an off-licence - I think this bit stuck with me because she met her husband, James Arthur Meredith, when he was going to get ale for his parents and she was in the shop - I guess the 30s would be right, nan was born in 1914, so could well ahve been working in the shop in the thirties.
