Newbie here so apologies if this is in the wrong place. My grandma used to work for Kunzles in the 1930s. At one point her and the other workers (all female) were all put into a sanatorium and had to isolate because of some illness. My mom and uncle are desperately trying to remember what illness this could have been. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
 
Possibly someone had contracted TB which is contagious even today so they took action to prevent it spreading everywhere
