King Family of Birmingham - William and Harry

I am looking for information about William King who was resident in 1881 in Birmingham with his wife Jane Lee, her daughter Annie (known as King on that census but I think she was not adopted by him) and his brother Harry. William was born in 1854 in San Francisco, worked as a gunsmith and joined the army in 1881. I cannot find his birth in any American records and believe that he was a British Citizen. Ancestry has excellent military records, so I know what he did form 1881 onwards. I have not been able to find him in 1871. He married Annie in 1874 and they were both resident in Birmingham .
In 1871 she was resident in Duddeston cum Nechells
Harry was in London in 1905 in Bethnal Green. Its not clear where he was born but I have only found him in the 1881 census and in William's army pension documents.
Thanks for any help!

Hi Aylene,

Granddad George King and his wife came to B'ham circa 1916 from Abergavenny Wales. I doubt if they fit in with your King but leave that to you to decide. We always felt Granddad had a relative in B'ham, but?

These are siblings of George King (Ross)

Annie King (1885) Tretire, Pencoyd, Ross
John King (1887) Pencoyd, Ross
Harriet King (1889) Pencoyd, Ross
Ellen King (1890) Pencoyd, Ross
Henry King (1894) Pencoyd, Ross
William King (1897) Pencoyd, Ross

(More after 1900's as his dad remarried - yet to be researched)

To add on, this may help or confuse (sorry if so). We can trace a John King (1803) born at sea. A William was born circa 1833.
