Kardomah New Street and Colmore Row

I used to go to the Clover sometimes for lunch. It was definitely on the ground floor, at least in the 1970s it was and it occupied the whole of the ground floor with plenty of tables. It was here:

I added a bit more to my post Janice. Was that how you remember it ? Think there was a lot of black paint on the walls too.First time I ever had chicken and sweetcorn soup !
