I am trying to trace Joseph Clarke and I wondered if someone would kindly help with the following baptism and marriage. All below is from IGI records any extra data from OPRs would be of great help.

His parents were Thomas Clarke & Ann. Joseph was baptised at St Philips 19 May 1815, IGI list his birth address as Barr St, Birmingham but no date. He had two brothers Samuel baptised 29 Dec 1812 & Henry Thomas baptised 26 Sep 1817. His parents, Thomas was possibly buried 9/12/1829 & Ann 20/5/1832 (Born 1790) both buried St Pauls.

Joseph Clarke married Amelia Goodfellow 24 March 1833, St Bartholomew, Edgbaston.

I have all later info on Joseph but any extra detail on the above would be appreciated.
Regards
Clakie

Hi Clarkie,

I have a disc "Greater Birmingham Miscellany" from BMSGH, it's got some old transcriptions. (I find the disc quite hard to use since I changed my PC)
It says the witnesses were "------- Brown, and Thomas Allen. It lists Amelia as Goodfellows. There wasn't much detail in those days.

I hope this helps in some way,
rosie.

Hi Clarkie, sorry no it doesn't. It's a typewritten transcription and only gives the bride, groom, and witnesses.
My Gt. Gt. Gt. Grandfather married there in 1833 also, and I have the same problem!
rosie.
