Jones Stanley G

Brock

master brummie
My ancestors William & Nellie Jones began their married life in Herbert Road, Small Heath & in later years lived in The Ring, Yardley & Hobmoor Road, Yardley. Over the years they had several children & I have been able to obtain their birth certificates to learn more about my family. Following the family in the electoral books I noticed that a Stanley G Jones & an Ivy E Jones began to be mentioned in the 1930's & I assumed that these were children of William & Nellie who had become of age & therefore eligilbe to vote. Indeed, I did discover that Ivy Evelyn Jones was born to the couple in 1912 & I assumed that Stanley was born to them around the same time period.
I have found two birth registration entries for Stanley G Jones (mother's maiden name Ward) but neither of them have proved to be the child of William & Nellie. Does anyone know of Stanley at all? Is there another birth registration that I have missed or could it be possible that William & Nellie took in Stanley from elsewhere in the family and looked after him as their own?
Any help at all would be most grateful please.
Thank you.
Brock.

Re: Stanley G Jones

Did you see the birth registration for a Stanley G Jones, Aston, March qtr 1911?

I see William and Nellie didn't marry until June qtr 1912. Could Nellie have had an illegitimate child?

Re: Stanley G Jones

I have already checked out this entry and also the entry in 1913 too for Stanley G Jones which gives the mother's maiden name as Ward but sadly neither proved to be correct.
Thank you for your reply.
Brock.
