I am researching a book about my father, Sydney Pullinger (1899-1973). He worked at John Wright & Co Ltd from about 1915 to 1932. While there he invented a Regulo which was used in their gas cookers and in the subsequent take over by Radiation. Does anyone know where I might find the archives of this company? Bryan Pullinger

Thank you, Carolina, I have gone onto your suggested link and via that to Radiation, which says that it is thought that the Regulo was invented in about 1915, which fits in with my father being with John Wright and Co. I would like to trace the original records regarding the invention of the Regulo. Maybe I can get via the Patent Office. Thanks again for your help. Regards, Bryan Pullinger

Bryan if you put into google or what search engine you use 'invention of regulo' there's info there. Carol

Does anyone know if any employee records exist for John Wright / Radiation. My father, my grandfather, a great-uncle, and possibly my great-grandfather too, all worked in the electro-plating department at some time. I have a picture of my grandfather, Alfred Sheldon, apparently lecturing to executives from George Canning in the 1950s on some technological aspect of their work.
