gone but not forgotten
hi guys
is it possible some-one can tell me about these to people
whom was related to my mother
i beleive they was born around the late 1800,s
and lived to a fairly ripe old age especial everllyn
i think eve died about five years ago not sure of her age
but i beleive they brought her body to birmingham
and burried in some-where in sutton coldfield
according to my daughter and there was a small caption by an under taker from sutton but i cannot recall which one
asking for fellow members to call
biut any way i beleive the address was no 2 main street
honeyborne . brettonford i think there was only child
and he could have worked the farm land
at a place called green farm honeybourne for the owner
whom was wing commander tanton ;
i have leart from the new owners up till recent the new owner is a dairy farmer whom is a magjor jenning now owns the land today
i was with him in the origional farm cottage owned by them
he asked me to draw a sketch of the farm as i knew it
when i was in this cottage as a little kid in those days the water supply was a well and we used candle for light
and we had a stream running around the garden and the house
but any way sorry for my ramblings on
but if possible could it be found out where they are from
the both of them or any one sibbling

what a great surprize and great pictures
thats how i recall it in those days it was fantascic
john what year of the fleece was taken and of the lane
the times i walked up and down that lane going back and forth to the kents little store; well in them days it was there house;
there front room you walk through there little front gate and the front door was always open to each and every one and i would walk up the lane bringing in the cows to the milking shed with the cousins
just around that bend was our familys half thatctch cottage
the reason i say that because grand father had built an extextection ajoing the house but did not put thatch on he garge section
i always go back to honeybourne village i went down some time ago
i do have pictures of the village old and new i have been meaning to get them down loaded but some how or another i never get it done
i got the old church and yard where all the ancester of jelfs are in ther i think frank was put inthere i do not know but evelyn was put inthe mail afew years ago looking for any one whom knew her my daughter said at the time
but any way after going into major jenning farm cottage was just around that bend i forgot to get a shot of the fleece but i got one of the thatch pub which does not have as much history as the fleece but the thatch as got alot of history attached to it which i have got so maybe in the near future i will go back and get it
i have met alot of jelfs there its sems they have claimed the village back,
because today like it was many years ago within 100 yards of each other there was centrys of the jelfs living in them eweven the little house facing the fleece

thats how i excatly recall it i go down fairly often as i can
and meet mrs gogins she the oldest member of the village
as i have told john ;there is a hell of alot of jelfs back in the village
even thou the village is slowly getting moderenise which is a crying shame new moderen house among the old thatch they have even sold the village church off to house they have converted the tower into appartments its a disgrace
the meadow behind it which was grazing the family cattle
as now become a dog walkers paradise but its still a lovely village
i have got pics from last year i speak with major jenning in is house that belong to the jelfs over the centrys thank god he as not changed it he as kept the big originional fire place and the porch where one time the hens would lay eggs and i would go out and pick them up
any way Lloyed you do not need me to tell you are star as you know what i think and i think our other members must think the same because you always come up trumps many thanks again astonian ;;
