Does anyone remember Jarvis Brothers in William St ?Both my mother Elsie Rafferty and aunt Margery Mack worked there from the late 50's.The 'Big Boss' was called Mr BrettellThey made pram parts i think and in the latter years the company moved to Cecil St.It would be great to hear from anyone who worked there or has any memories of the company thanks

Suse, I worked there when i first left school in 1967.I worked on a handpress as did my mom and sister.what a dump.outside toilets, newspaper up to the windows it was freezing in the winter. Our foreman at the time was Albert Mosedale. We had to weigh all our own work to see how many gross we done as it was peacework.
