The 'then' pictures are taken from old postcards, the 'now' pictures taken from Google Streetview.
The older of the pictures dates from 1910 .

What a small we live in. I used to go out with a girl called Joan Humphries who lived in Jaffray Road. It was at the far end where the road finished in a cul-de-sac. Regards, David.
 
I think this is the end of Jaffray Road. You can just make out a gate across the road in the distance. There's still a (different) gate across the road today. That must be an entrance to the playing fields. Sorry, no date for this one.
