A study has found they don't have to tell a joke, as their accent alone is so funny.

Liverpool came 2nd & Newcastle 3rd

The results were based on a responses to the same joke told to more than 4000 people in 11 regional accents.

there was an item on midlands ITV this evening
and "brummies" were asked to tell a joke,
and the only guy who could,
was censored because it was a dirty one :2funny:
But yes you are correct we "Brummies" are the funniest people O0
But then,we already knew we had a good sense of humour ;)

hi boys and girls on our terrifik forum , this lovely tuesday morning . i am very sorry to be offenceive to my fellow brumies , but i intend to disagree, we are a very welcoming people and sincere people , but funny , na . na. we are also very hard working people ,but funny no . we used to laugh , but now i think the brummie takes a serios viwe on life ,we just don,t laugh any more , and if you have got a good neibour today , they are worth there weight in gold , sorry folks,. laugh , and the world will laugh with you , cry and you cry alone , have a nice day my fellow commrades ,

we seem to be able to laugh it off,
even if the jokes on us we can tek it

i see brummies have another unique first along with liverpool,
we are the most rude people in england, i wonder who came up with that one, we are the most helpfull, polite people on this planet

If it means we can turn our hand to just about anything and make light of it at the same time, then yes, it's easy being funny if you're a Brummie.
