Hi Everyone Ref Issac Tongue junction Bristol Rd Northfield
I read somewhere that Issac Tongue was a blacksmith in Northfield and he would lay new born children over the anvil and give them a name... could anyone confirm this..

Isaac Tongue was born c 1812 and he never married.
He would rechristen children after their religious baptism but with a nickname instead of their given name and they were usually known by their nickname.

He died in 1884.
