Isaac Cotterill birth and any extra marriage details

Hi group,

Was hoping someone might be able to help me with any extra information on the baptism of an Isaac Cotterill on 9th Nov 1723, perhaps his fathers name, mothers? Also his marriage on 10th August 1747 to Anne Tombs, hoping it might state his trade, and maybe some witnesses.

hi glenys, sad to say there isnt much recorded at these early dates.

nothing extra on the marriage at all - name listed as cotterell

on the baptism it does say isaac son of isaac "cottrell" so at least you have the fathers name

Thanks so much for that, I am very grateful for your help.
If you are still looking at the index could I ask one more favour?

I have a Thomas Cotterill born to Isaac & Anne Cotterill in 1750, baptised at St Martins,
and he married a Sarah Higgins on 21st Sept 1772 at St Martins, but I have not
been able to find his burial, can you help me one more time. Its possible also that at his death his
surname may have changed slightly Cottrill, (my maiden name) as it changed from his generation on.

I think his last child was born in 1787, so I am guessing death/burial could be any time after that.
I know its like looking for needle in haystack, but appreciate your thoughts.

i have looked through a lot of the burial records (with different spellings of cotterill). some are illegible - but i have found this one

thomas cottrill buried 29 july 1812. no other info although if it was a child it would say "son of ...." so it was an adult.

not sure if this is yours but its a possibility!
 
on ancestry there are just a few directories for the late 1700`s and there appears to be two thomas cotterells

one living hill street who was a carpenter and joiner in 1777 and 1781

one living 3 lancaster street who was a maltster - again in 1777 and 1781
 
Thanks once again Shera for your wonderful help! I am thinking that maybe the carpenter and joiner, only because his descendant son, grandson, g/grandson were in building type trades. I will have to try and investigate more. I couldn't find any directories when I was in Ancestry recently for the 1700's, I must not have had correct search info.
