Iommi family

The artists model is on the 1939 register at 169 and 171 Booth Street living with Marrieta Iommi b 1898, Nicola Iommi b 1887, and Wiliam Mitchell b 1915
If you want I will post it when I put my laptop on.
yes I saw that record, Nichola is Nicholas a male and is married to Marietta (Maria) iommi so I don't know how Giuseppe is related, maybe a sibling.. at one point Nicholas was living at duddeston row. there two giuseppes, both came over from southern Italy and only one death under Giuseppe yommi... the first photo is 100 percent my great grandad as its from family, but now im confused there seems to be another one who was alive after 1927 :)
please do post

Just a thought. What occupation does it have on Giuseppe's death certificate?
It’s says he’s a former floor layer… also on the census with Maria his wife it says cement work. So I’m guessing I have the right Giuseppe.
But this other one who is an artists model I wonder where he fits in to my tree

So I figured out this morning
My great grandad Giuseppe who died 1927 married a Maria
Giuseppe the artist model who moved to buck street also married a Maria.

they all lived on the same road at one point

Felice great great grandad lived at 25 duddeston row
Giuseppe great grandad and wife lived 24
Francesco and Maria (famous Tony iommi grandparents lived) 22
and Giuseppe the artist model and his wife Maria lived at 17..
They all worked at 81 high street :)

incase anyone in interested in that info :) it might help locate burial info maybe..
There is an earlier Maria:

could this be an earlier relative or perhaps the death date is incorrect?

yes Maria is my grandaunt. 1911-1913 Giuseppe's daughter :)

So the Maria in All Saints and later Rubery Hill is the one married to the Artist Model as it says she lived at 17?

yes I ordered a digital copy of her death certificate this morning and it says married to Giuseppe iommi (artist model)
its sad reading her medical notes :( she was a dressmaker.
as they alll lived on the same street,im now trying to find out how the two giuseppes were related, I know they were close as from same place in Italy and came over together. But absolutely no record of Giuseppe (artist model death)

On 1921 census Giuseppe and Maria with children Albert and Anthony are at 25 Duddeston Row.
He is listed as a Floor layer so I assume you have the right death cert.

1955 is not a census year but you might have found them on erolls. The ones born in Italy possiy couldn't vote here but those born in UK would have been able to.

On the 1921 census Giovanna (I think that's right) is Felice's son bu tthe Alfred listed as son and Hilda as daughter are the children of Giovanna and Lucia (maidenn name Lancia)

yes you're right, I had Hilda down and worked out that they could not be Felice children because of their ages, so ive listed them both under Giovanni and Lucia children. Am I right that Lucia is Lucia Lancia? before marriage. Ive actually found where Hilda is buried, she married into Groves surname, divorced and then married a Liveley.

There was a brother in law on the 1911 census called Pasquale Lancia so im thinking that could be Lucia relative

I notice that Giovanni and Lucia are under West Brom on the GRO INDEX

The birth records I posted list Mother's maiden name as Lancia. So it seems extremely likely Pasquale is her brother.
I think Giovanni filled in the form. Put his Dad (Felice as head) and himself as son, plus Lucia as daughter in law then listed the rest as how they related to him

Back then parts of present day Birmingham came under West Brom. I had problems with that at one stage.

Oh that is interesting then about West Brom, I thought perhaps they had moved out. I have added so much info to my tree now its great :))
still non the wiser where anyone is buried lol.
But I feel a lot closer now with everyone's help :)

Two observations which you may have already seen.

Firstly there appears to be a marriage reg. for a Felice Jommi and an Angela Quadrini in Bham Dec 1900. Would this be Felice and Angelina and would it possibly mean that Angelina is not the mother of Felice's children.

And secondly, the Frank Musticone (various spellings) listed as a boarder of Felice on the 1921 census may possible be related to him as well as being the brother of Frank/Frengo Iommi's wife. Frank Musticone's mother, Maria, appears to be an Iommi. Her English born children have mmn listed as possible variations of Iommi. Maybe Maria was Felice's daughter?

Hi I noticed they got married in 1900.. I assumed she was the mother, but could be wrong, Im sure she was from Italy also so I thought they met there and then came over here?!

so on the 1911 census Francesco iommi (cousin) to Felice who was 17 at the time and Felice around 60, so I thought it must be a brothers, child or like a 3rd cousin as that's a huge gap for first cousins. He married a Maria Musticone. They had 19 children, I think they had about 23 but I have 19 listed, some twins and triplets, a lot died and I think about 12 survived. I noticed on Felice death certificate that N. Musticone registered his death and put (niece) I was confused as she wouldn't be a niece. So the fact that a Frank Musticone is a boarder makes sense, as that surname is integrated already. The Frank/Frengo ive come across that its Francesco because of his DOB and that's who married to Maria Musticone :)
so bloody confusing with all the different names.

But there's 4 other children of Felice and I haven't got them, only my great grandad and brother, and still I have no clue where they were all buried. I will list all the children of Francesco and Maria that I have. There's one repeated
