Common name Ash Plant? My nan who often got words mixed up called them cinneraria.I think it is also called cineria.
We get wild garlic but it often dies due to lack of rain before it flowers and wild anemone, they look similar.we dig it up were we can and burn it. its very invasive. like the hogweed that i strimmed and ended up in hospital becouse that was taking over grrrrrrrrrrr
An Armadillo I think! You must be in FL, toasty warm there by now! This visitor created a lot of excitement yesterday in my sons garden. I’ve never seen one before. I think it’s been scuttling around outside my bedroom window for the past week. Maybe they’re more nocturnal ? Think it’s a fascinating animal, almost prehistoric. Viv.

A little further North but we had been 15 degrees below normal then all of a sudden last week were in the high 80's low 90's and the AC came on very well!Too toasty for my comfort at times Richard. Thank goodness for air con ! Here for another fortnight. Don’t think I shall moan about the cooler British climate again. Viv.
Pedro, even the pavement is too hot there in the summertime.I was in Florida in June of 1981, even the sea was too hot ! Plenty of mosquitoes and cockroaches.
Hope you enjoyed, we were there in the spring, it was beautiful and comfortable.Went to Cypress Gardens !
I watched ours eating leaf shoots. Wildflower leaves in the lawn (no mow May) though I cut it yesterday was getting too long for the mower but I have left swathes of wildflowers. Don't know what some of them are. Very few snails so far for the hedghog.Maybe Nutkin likes the company of owls while he’s eating ! Viv.
good news thanks pLatest. Little blackbird perked up and opening mouth for mealworms.
Be sure to give it some water, meal worms are very dry. Might have been stunned. It is amazing how trusting they are and how they follow you. Parent might come back for it. The baby robins followed me round the garage.I miss them.good news thanks p
