I was born at Dudley Rd Hospital Birmingham in 1944. I lived in Pereira Rd Harborne from 1944-1956 & then moved to Albert Rd Harborne.

I went to the Infant School in Harborne from 1948 - 51 (in Miss Marshs', Miss Paces' & Miss Dixons classes) & then went to Harborne High Street Junior School until 1956 (in Miss Firkins', Mrs Boyds', Miss Jewkes & Mr Shuttleworths' classes) & then on to George Dixon Grammar School for Girls until '61 (in Mrs Macnairs', Miss Firths', Miss Sauls' & Miss Streathers' classes) & then went to Bournville School of Art until '63 where I studied for the Intermediate Exam in Art & Craft & on again to the College of Art at Aston where I studied for the Diploma in Art & Design (Textiles & Fashion) until '66.
class mates whose names I remember were: Caroline Worrall, George Smerdon, Duncan McGuffie, Hugh & Mary Powell, Carol Bullivant, Christine Woodward, Jennifer Baines
 
hi and welcome...i have moved this thread from forum rules to the correct section of the forum which is our schools and colleges section i have placed it there as you give us the schools you attended...could we please remind all members to take a min to scroll down the main page before starting a new thread as we do have sections for most topics also if you put in the names of schools etc you have attended into our search box we may have individual threads for them..hope this helps..thank you
