HI FROTH BLOWER , LENCOOPS .
I Hope Nobody Minds Me Bringing Back This Subject , But I Thought I Had To Say Some think , Unfortuneately Around When This Subject Came On ,
I Could,nt Find The Time To Reply ,Oweing To The Fact I Had To Spend All My Time In St Mary,s Hospice , With My Dying Young Brother With His Bone Cancer ,And By The Time I Got Back To Worc; I Was Very Tired And Worn Out And It Was Late In The Morning Before Going Back , Any Way My Young Brother As Finealy Died On Thursday Afternoon At 3.30 Any Way Getting Back To The Subject The Place Froth blower And His Wife Are Correct , In The Early Fifties It Was A Dark Brown Tiled Small Pub , And It Was Called The Naughtical Pub , And There Was No Other Wording With It . On New Cannal Street In That Period There Was Stretching From Fazely Street ,Along New Cannal Street Three Cafes ,Starting At Fazely Street Faceing This Dirty Little Pub, On The Left Hand Side Of The RD Was A Little Cafe ,Run By An Old Lady
At The Traffic Lights When You Walked Along New Cannal Street,You Would Walk Pass The Dogs Home, And Next Passed That Was The Hide And Skin Then There Was Houses , And Then You Are On The Next Corner,
And There At That Corner Was Another Cafe , [A Transport BB, ]
Which Is Where I Recall My Knowledge Of The Pub Called The Naughtical
Because That Was My Grand Mothers And Grandfathers Home And Bussiness,And That Address Was NO 1 , Nwe Cannal Street And I Would
Walk My Grand PARENTS Dog Up And Down The Rd Down To The Light
Cross Over And Back On The Other Side To That Pub And Back Oppersite The Cafe This Is Many Years Before As Ever Came To Newcannal St
Eventualy That Pub Closed Down And Yes It Was Closed Down For Afew Years , Before Some-body Came Along And Decided To Give The Old Lady Competition And Open That Pub As A Cafe , Sadly I Think The Old Lady
By The Lights Either Died Or Retired .But Any Way This Old Pub The Naughtical Did Not Last Long As A Cafe,And That Was Boarded Up For Donkeys Years , Before The Asians Opened Up AS A Cash And Carry
It Was All That Successful When A.S Moved In ,
Getting Back To The Third Tea Rooms Once You Contiued Along New Cannal Street On The Oppersite Corners Was A Little Garage ,And On The Oppersite Corner Was The Dog Pub , Which Is Still There Today In Fact AlsoThe Garage All The Land That Is Now Flat Oppersite On The Corner Was Was My Grand Parents Land The Boarding Rooms The House Garage The Back Yard And The Shop Belong To Ernest Jelf And Bertha Hinton ,
And The Rest Of The ASTON Tea Rooms Bertha Died In 1953, And Ernie Sold UpAnd Went Back To Aston Cross =PARK LANE ,But The Other Third Tea Room Still Excist On New Cannal Street Today This Was 1953 -
When That Pub Was Boarded Up That Pub Did Excist And It Was Boarded Up For Years Incidently That Old Lady,s Cafe Next To The Traffic Light Did Pait It Green Where The Old Lady Kept It Black And White But Never Cleaned But Froth blower Is Bang On It Was Really There In The Very Early Fifties To The Mid FIFTIES Before Trying As A Cafe And It Was,nt There More Than 3 Months Before Being Banged Up For Years
And It Was Most Definately The Naughtical And I Thought At The Time That A Peculiar Name But That Is A Fact ;
