Hi, I am hoping someone might be able to help me out...
I am looking for the marriage record of the following couple

Frederick leslie Howell (DOB - 07.04.1910 Shifnal) married Mildred Alice (DOB - 18.07.1912) (I have been told her maiden name is Johnson)
They have 2 known children ( I belive there were 4 in total)
Henry William Howell - 13.06.1936 (eldest child)
Yvonne Howell - 16.04.1938

I would like to find out where the children were born and where leslie and millie were married and when and possibly info on Millies family if anyone can find it...

I have tried many sites, coming up blank...

Thanks in advance..

Darz

Ladylinda,

Thanks for taking the time to look at this for me. I did manage to find the births of the 2 children, but like you, was unable to find others that could be theirs (based on name, dates and birthplace)

Thanks for finding the marriage details, I will now order the marriage cert for further clarification and I will read through your other post with the census info....You are a gem.....

Darz I don't know if it's of interest. I work as a moblie hairdresser in Tamworth and have a client with the surname Pursehouse her family were from Birmingham. It's quite an unusual name thats why I mentioned it.

Thanks....what about the census info...I have a subscription for ancestry.com but not sure if they have full access to the 1911 census. I have searched findmypast.co.uk, but was wondering if there was a better site. Do you have to pay for the 1911 census to view?

Oh wow....might be a connection there...I haven't really gone into detail with that name yet...still digging into the Howell side...plenty to keep me occupied at the moment...but it is definitely a unique name.

Hi Darz, 1911 on find my past is pay per view, but I have a sub for that site.
Ancestry have only the summary books at the moment, which give some info, but not much!
