Hi Keith
Yes I remember it well I attended the school in 1962 at the age of five. The church yard was a favourite place to play football now when you think about it we were trampling over gravestones ‍♂️. Mrs Bowman was my first teacher (she was a music teacher) if I remember correctly. Always played piano in assembly. We lived in Sampson road north. The road opposite the church. Miss mc dowell was head for quite a few years I remember she got a mention on the central news. I don’t know if you remember me and my brother Paul ? Paul is two years younger than me. We were Christened in holy trinity church. Do you remember the jumble sales held every morning in the school had many second hand shoes from there.
