Holdcroft's Sutton Coldfield

Does anyone have any information on the Holdcroft's of Sutton Coldfield. They arrived from Weeford about 1850's and may have decendents in the Birmingham.
 
Not sure, but Houldcrofts (Note spelling) lived in Handsworth around the mid 1900's, cannot remember the parents but two children Enid and Alan. Father used to own a garage in the centre of Birmingham. More info if required ?

The Houldcrofts lived in Linchmere Road, Handsworth, next door to my grandparets, Alan went to school in Shenstone, he and I used to play together when we were young children and he was home from boarding school, the dates would be around 1951-1960
