Hold on to your soul

Hold on to your soul,
before it takes you whole,
I remember when you were young -
life was different then, fun was your goal,
and childhood was your role,
but you grew up too fast,
I knew your innocence would never last,
I hope you realise your mistakes,
life is so short, it will be over too quick and too late...
 
Yet another poet!! When you think its all done and dusted along comes another to delight us with their works. Cheers O0

Re'read your Poem and know why you wrote it, very moving and at the same time done with a lot of thought.
Please let us see a few more like this not sad but with a smile (Pot calling the kettle black)
