Anyone know Albert Danks who was serving on the Birmingham during WW2? I believe he was working in mechanisions in the engine room. By the end of the war he was a Chief Petty Officer. Would welcome any new info.
It may be worth asking the newspaper of the Royal Navy 'Navy News' to list your request in there 'Where Are You Now?' column its free of charge and the paper is read by lots of retired / ex Royal Navy people.
