Announced today by the Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson:
The conference was also told that one of the Navy's new Type 26 frigates will be called HMS Birmingham, becoming the fourth Royal Navy ship to bear the name.
Three of the 6,900-tonne Type 26 frigates have already been named: Glasgow, Belfast and Cardiff.
The first of eight vessels is due to be delivered in 2025
