Perseverance conquers Lyn. Examining the road listings rather names , there seems to be no odd numb8er listings on that side of Washwood Heath road below 29 in the 1905 Kellys, but in the 1908 edition the entry for no 1 Washwood Heath road is William B. Lilley, tailor. He is still there in 1915 edition, but by 1921 it is Lewis Putsman, tailor .However by 1924 it is listed as "Lilly" tailors.
In Alum Rock Road, in 1921 no 2 is N.L.Brown & Co, with 2A Neales Tea Stores. By 1924 Barclays Bank is at no 2. By the 1932 edition no 1 Washwood Heath is not listed, but from 1940s maps, it appears that at some time Barclays took over the whole corner. It would seem that the photo would have been taken between 1924 and 1932
