Hidson William Durant - born 1828

The Hidson surname goes back some way in Warwickshire. Does anyone have any information about their earliest connection with Birmingham ?

Re: William Durant Hidson - born 1828

There's a Thomas Hidson (mistranscribed as Hedson) on the 1841 census with wife Elizabeth and what appears to be 9 children! He was probably born about 1800 and certainly guaranteed the Hidson name would be carried on in Birmingham!!!
They were living in Bradford Street,Deritend/Bordesley.
